Lily here! More of me to know, I am 19 years old, today. I am currently a freshman in college. And I have no idea where I will take this but am excited to be doing it!

FIRST BLOG WOOHOO!!

Something I don’t often share a lot is that I love journaling.  It is something I consider personal to me, and a safe place for me to write memories to get to look back on in the future! Now I never really considered sharing those journals, because of how personal they are. But I have been documenting for fun recently, and think these are more share-worthy.

So here I am sitting by the water, watching the sunset while having no clue where I am going to take this.

They say you have to start somewhere!

Honestly, I did not know where to start. Then I was revisited by the idea of VSCO journals.  Yes, VSCO had journals.  Do you remember that?  At the time when this was an option, I had published a few. I definitely already thought I was a pro blogger. I mean we are talking like 2018 to 2019 Lily. This is what sparked my love for journaling. So I thought, why not use some 2019 words from Lily?

So unedited this is what I had to say.

you're totally AMAZING! don’t stop being YOU. keep SMILING. don’t knock yourself DOWN. LOOK how far you’ve come. you’re BEAUTIFUL no matter what anyone says. you are so LOVED!

REMEMBER TO

-smile! it’s good for your health and happiness:)

-positive attitude! others will be encouraged by your attitude

-be patient! things might not come right away so be patient and wait

-LOVE! love yourself AND others (always)

-be encouraging! encouragement is a great way for you to show others how much you love them

-reach out! you know someone could be having a bad day, so REACH OUT you could make their day 10 times better (and you know you would want someone to do that to you!)

-laugh! laughing so much your stomach hurts is the best feeling ever and you know it! and you deserve to laugh like that too!

don’t forget you are LOVED by the people around you and by GOD! so don’t bring yourself down because of a friend, boy, comment, ex-friend, etc. because you are AMAZING!!!

I am just kidding! I still do not really use it to this day shhh...

That little journal 2019 Lily wrote, was exactly what 2023 Lily needed to hear 4 years later!! And it is so so so truthful. Some of these reminders can be easily forgotten, even though they are some of the easiest attributes to apply to everyday life.

So going forward with this blog (digital diary) here is what I want to keep in mind:

I hope these blogs make you smile, and laugh.

I hope I write them with a positive attitude.

I hope to encourage many to reach out to those they love.

I hope to have patience in what the future has for these blogs.

AND I hope you feel LOVED while reading them.
